Gizmo Video: Brain games offer a mental workout

We know that exercise is good for our bodies but now researchers tell us our brains also need regular exercise - especially those of us reaching the gray hair years.

Some types of electronic games like puzzles, word games and quizzes can keep our brains sharp, improve our memory and possibly stave off Alzheimer's disease.

And there are other benefits from playing games. They can help relieve the stress of a hard day at work. And games that you play online are a way to socialize with friends, even ones that are far away.

In my video on the MyWell-Being YouTube channel, I introduce you to several games you can play on your computer, mobile phone or tablet. They include Math Workout, Einstein Brain Trainer and my favorite, Words With Friends.
