Sony has officially unveiled its S Series Walkman, a portable media player that can blare your favorite in high quality through its built-in stereo speakers, making music sharing just a bit louder.
The Sony S Series Walkman player has a slim, compact, and lightweight design, which is evident in its half-inch thick frame. It is highlighted with a 2.4-inch QVGA LCD screen that assures users a very quick response time as its playback can run up to 30 frames per second. The S Series also has unique technologies called "Unique Audio" and "Digital Linear Phase Speaker System" that ensure superior sound quality at all times.
This MP3 player also boasts its long battery life of up to 42 hours of audio playback and up to 6.5 hours worth of video playback when played through the headphones. Other features include voice and FM recording capability, enabling you to record your favorite songs straight from the radio or capture quick messages and reminders.
The new Sony S Series Walkman will be available in a variety of colors like black and violet. Both 8GB and 16GB models will be available starting September 2009 for abou US$110 and US$130 respectively.
