Following its tradition of providing high-quality portable media players, Creative has unveiled the Zen X-Fi2, which features a 3-inch touch screen and Xtreme Fidelity (or X-Fi) audio technology.
With an ultra slim exterior, the Creative ZEN X-Fi2 has an intuitive interface for easy navigation while playing your favorite music, photos, and video clips. It also supports a variety of file formats, including iTunes Plus and FLAC files, as well as a video-out capability so users can view videos and photos on a TV with the help of an optional cable. A microSD card slot is also included for expanded memory.
X-Fi audio technology provides crystal-clear sound quality and detail, restoring generation loss while enhancing digital audio content, delivering the most acoustically natural headphone audio available for a media player. This Creative-exclusive technology can also move the conventional left-right earphone stereo source away from the ears, thereby providing depth to your favorite music.
The Creative ZEN X-Fi2 is available for pre-order at Amazon.com, Creative.com, and Frys.com. Costs range between US$129.99 to US$229.99, depending on the memory capacity.
