GiiNii Movit Mini

Giinii Movit Mini

Almost everybody is into social networking nowadays. People get connected with their friends, family, and even total strangers with just an invite. But wouldn't it be better if you can get connected with your online friends wherever you go?

This is what GiiNii aims for with Movit Mini, the little version of Movit Android Tablet. The WiFi-enabled Movit Mini lets you connect online and share contest on your favorite social networking websites like MySpace and Facebook. This device can also get you connected with friends via Skype with its built-in microphone and speaker, thus allowing you to call other Skypers for free wherever you find a WiFi hotspot. You can also watch videos in full screen and even use the built-in video camera as your very own mini-webcam.

The GiiNii Movit Mini also comes with a Bluetooth 2.0 connection so you can talk with your online friends using a headset or pair it with other Bluetooth devices. Its address book provides you with easy access to you're your network's phone numbers. It is basically everything you get from a GiiNii Movit, only in a smaller, more compact model with 4.3-inch, 480 x 272 resistive touch-screen color screen.

The sad part about the GiiNii Movit Mini, however, is that it only has 256MB of internal storage, although you can expand the memory using an optional microSD card. This concept product will hit around late 2009, after the introduction of its 7-inch cousin, the Movit Maxx. It will be available at a price that is "less than the iPod touch."
