If you live by gasoline then you are definitely going to enjoy Abarth Powerplay Extreme, a crazy gaming PC by Fiat and Intel. This high performance desktop is the first fruit of the Fiat-Intel collaboration that aims to develop state-of-the-art electronic products and devices. With an eye-catching design, the high-end desktop was produced by Brain Technology Spa of Italy.
The Intel Core i7 Extreme processor powers Abarth Powerplay Extreme. This microchip is supposed to be Intel's most powerful processor ever produced. Fiat states in a press release: "The decision to create a product designed for videogamers 'emerged from the realization that this market segment is a rigorous test bench for personal computers. Videogamers are some of the most demanding users, able to assess a computer's real performance and to push it to its highest limits."
Abarth Powerplay Extreme will feature a CD burner and a Blu-ray/HD DVD player. Unfortunately there are no details available on the specs yet. Intel and Abarth will present the gaming PC in Europe through the international videogame championship Intel Friday Night Game. There is no word coming from the Italian firm about the price of the gaming PC.
