Panasonic HDC-HS300

The HDC-HS300 is Panasonic's latest addition to their high definition camcorder line. With a touch-screen technology, its interface allows you to operate the device through icon-based menus. The HS300 has the latest 3MOS chip system. With 3 full-HD sensors, it currently holds the world record for having the highest combined pixel count (9,150,000 pixels). You'll be amazed by the very high picture quality. It can record 10.6 MP for still images and 8.3 MP for still images during video recording.

The HS300 model also delivers high sound quality. It features a 5.1-channel home cinema system. When you play a recording on a 5.1-channel surround sound system, you're surrounded by a very detailed and clear sound that makes you feel as if you're right in the center of the action. The camcorder has 20 GB hard drive and can store 50 hours of video recordings in HE mode.

The HS300 comes with a microphone terminal, an electronic viewfinder, and a manual ring. These features are ideal for semiprofessionals that look for more expressive and artistic video shooting. This model allows for more precise and delicate fingertip control over the exposure, zoom, aperture, focus, white balance, and shutter speed settings. Suggested retail price is $1,399.95. The Panasonic HDC-HS300 camcorder will be available in April this year.
