We are still not sure whether Blu-ray could be as popular as DVD, but many companies are taking the risk on incorporating this Sony-exclusive technology to their devices. Take Toshiba, for instance, with its newly-revised version of Qosmio X500 gaming laptop.
It is as big and bulky as other gaming laptop and is packed with features including an 18.4-inch TruBrite LCD screen with 1920 x 1080 resolution, 2.8GHz Core i7 processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250MNV graphics card, 8GB of RAM, dual 500GB hard drives, and a Blu-ray drive with burner. Expect this to become available before 2009 ends, beginning in the UK.
