eMachines EL 1300 Series Mini PCs

Back in the day, computer geeks would rather not be caught dead using an eMachines PC. But nowadays, the former laughing stock of the PC environment has been pulling out all the stops with their latest small form factor desktop computers (or mini PCs for short) in their EL 1300 line.

eMachines released two new mini PC models: the EL 1300G-01w and the EL 1300G-02w. Both have a CPU that measures 10.7 tall, 4.2 inches wide, and 15 inches long. The two models enable students and small homes to use their very own desktop computer.

Both models boast of 1.6GHz AMD Athlon 2650e, NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE integrated graphics, a 160GB SATA HDD, 18x SuperMulti DVD Burner, nine USB 2.0 slots and a multicard reader. What is the difference between the two models? The EL 1300G-02w is more expensive by about $100 because it comes with a 20-inch LCD monitor and Windows XP instead of Windows Vista.
