3M MPro110 Micro Professional Projector

The 3M MPro 110 is a portable projector that can fit in the palm of your hand. With this type of projector, people can now bring it along with their laptops without being such a burden. It size is just similar to current cellphones and weighs about 5.6 ounces. But it is able to project sharp quality videos and images for a handy projector. This little projector makes use of a LED bulb for a light source and an LCOS (Liquid Crystal on Silicon) image chip to process video.

A good thing about this pocket projector is that it doesn't generate a lot of heat unlike other projectors. Not needing a cooling fan makes it even better as it does away with the noise that such fans usually make. Its lithium ion battery is good for an hour before the projector needs to be connected to an AC outlet for power.

The 3M MPro has an aspect ratio of 4:3, the standard for most video formats. The projector brightness is at 12 lumens, quite low to allow clear projection for more than 5 feet from a flat screen. Lights in the room may also need to be turned off in order to see projected images. Such a projector may be ideal for presentations and viewing in a small group setting. It might not be sufficient enough for use at conferences and lectures. Connectors include a VGA slot for connecting into laptops and a video in slot for connecting to DVD players.
